OUR VISION

To see Real Students become Rooted in Jesus

Whether students realize it or not middle and high school students are continually asking the question who am I and how do I fit into the world? Our goal at FCC is that while they are figuring out who they are we will be there to show them whose they are. By Connecting students with Jesus each other and adult leaders we are there to help them answer the question Who Am I?While students are discovering who they are in Christ, we want to Root them in Jesus through modeling how to spend time with God live in a Real community, and discover/use their gifts.

OUR WIN

It’s hard sometimes to know when you’re winning in youth ministry, you know? Like, is anything we’re teaching sinking in? Are teenagers growing in their faith? That’s why we decided to go ahead and define the big win for our ministry. It’s the one thing that we, as a ministry team, want to achieve. It’s the goal we want to keep in mind at all times. And it’s what motivates and guides everything we do. It goes like this...

WE WIN WHEN A TEENAGER
TAKES A STEP TOWARD
OWNING THEIR FAITH.

TAKING A STEP

Now, we say “takes a step” for a reason. It’s because there’s no finish line or certificate of completion when it comes to spiritual growth. Instead, spiritual growth is a journey (a life-long journey) and no two journeys are identical. That’s why our big win doesn’t have anything to do with a specific skill or achievement. Instead, we win anytime we see a teenager take a single step closer to owning their faith.

OUR WEEKLY PROGRAMS

MIDDLE SCHOOL | SUNDAYS from 10:15am-11:15am

Our middle school ministry (grades 6-8) meets every Sunday for games, teaching, and small groups in the Family Life Center

HIGH SCHOOL | Wednesday from 6:30-8:30 PM

Our high school ministry (grades 9-12) meets every Sunday for life groups and teaching in the Family Life Center.

There are three environments for teenagers in our ministry. Each one is designed to strategically invite teenagers on a journey into deeper relationships with their peers, leaders, and Jesus. Each environment is designed with every teenager in mind - the kid who’s grown up in church and the first-time visitor too.

EVENTS

Throughout the year, we’ll host several big events designed to help teenagers connect with their peers and small group leaders. Events are often the environment where teenagers will walk into our ministry for the very first time.

REAL GROUP

REAL groups are the most important part of what we do. They happen every week in our programs, but the relationships built in REAL groups extend outside the walls of our church. They’re designed to connect every teenager with a consistent trustworthy adult and community of their peers.

FAMILIES

No matter what, a teenager’s family (not their church) will always be the biggest influence in their lives. So families we want to partner with you because you have the greatest impact on a student's faith. Our goal is that together our staff and REAL group leaders will partner with you to help students own their faith. We win with families when we equip families to help students own their faith.

COMMUNICATION

We know that when you are informed you make it possible for your students to take the next step in their faith journey. We place a high value on consistent communication so if you and your student want to be connected and informed fill out the communication forms below.
