What we believe.

1) The Bible is the only inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God

(II Timothy 3:15-17; II Peter 1:19-21)

2) That there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit

(I Corinthians 8:6; Matthew 28:19-20; Ephesians 4:4-6)

3) In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ; in His virgin birth; in His sinless life; in His miracles; in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood; in His bodily resurrection; in His ascension to the right hand of the Father

(Matthew 3:17; I Peter 1:18-19, 2:21-25; Matthew 1:18-23; 28:1-6; Acts 1:9; John 2:9, 4:46, 5:5)

4) That, for salvation, God has given this pattern in the New Testament:

Hear the gospel (Romans 10:17)

Believe that Jesus Christ is the Lord and Savior (Mark 16:16, John 3:15,16)

Repent of all sins (Acts 2:38, 3:19)

Confess Christ as God’s Son (Matthew 10:32; Romans 10:9,10)

Be baptized by immersion (Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38; Matthew 28:19,20; Romans 6:1-8)

Live your life for Christ and communicate with him in prayer

(Romans 1:17; II Peter 3:18; Revelation 2:10; Acts 2:42; Colossians 4:2; Philippians 4:6)

5) In the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by Whose indwelling we are enabled to live a Godly life

(John 14:26; 15:26, 27)

6) In the personal and imminent second coming of Christ

(Acts 1:11; I Thessalonians 4:14-18; Matthew 24:29-31)

7) The resurrection of both the saved and the lost. The saved are resurrected to eternal life in heaven and lost are resurrected to eternal life in hell.

(Matthew 25:31,32; Revelation 20:4, 5-14; 1 Corinthians 15:51,52)
